The Beautiful and the Damned and all it’s related corporations/ownership (“BXD”) are writing this Privacy Policy to let users of the BXD website to know how we both collect your information as well as use your personal information. We are committed to not abusing the right to have your information. If you ever access a 3rd party link from our website, whether from us or another user, please know they will have their own privacy policy and terms of service for which we request you review those as well. Further understand that we do not endorse the use of any specific third party site unless expressly stated.

While we will always keep information on our sales of merchandise or other goods and services sold on the BXD website, you can opt-out of receiving emails/messages/offers from us. By agreeing to our privacy policy and terms of service, you give BXD 30 days to remove your email address, or name from our email system. It is important to know that if you opt-out of receiving email messages that does not opt you out of receiving emails related to orders of goods or services sold on our site. Further, we may readd your name to our email lists after you place an order for which you will have to opt out again if you’d like.

Visitors to the BXD website have the opportunity to receive communications from us. These communications may include a newsletter, product promotions, and any other information that we feel may be pertinent to the visitor.

We will also work with external parties that sell our Whiskey to receive your personal information (email, address information, etc.) as a way to stay in contact with our customers.

Lastly, BXD uses all the customary tracking mechanisms allowed for in cookies, tags, scripts, beacons, etc. This information is usually limited and happens automatically, storing the information on users in our server. This information may be used by BXD for site administration and marketing purposes on platforms such as Google Ads and similar platforms. Remember you can always opt out of Google Analytics or similar websites through their site. We also use cookies for our shopping cart features. This helps us to remember your settings and to suggest other items you may like. You can reject cookies, but then your site experience maybe be limited.

We will not sell your information unless there is a transfer in ownership of BXD and even in that case, your information will only be given to that company. We may share your personal information with those that we are in business with such as the company we choose to sell our whiskey online. We may also share your information with marketing companies that we hire from time to time to help guide our marketing decisions. That said, these companies will be directed to only use your personal information in relation to the project BXD is working on with them.

While we will do everything in our power to protect the personal information you share with us, there is no way to guarantee its security from hackers or others wishing to do harm. We also work with website developers from time to time that may encounter your personal information. We ask that you understand this and by using our site, understand this risk exists.

As of the time of this privacy policy, BXD uses Bluehost to host its website and all personal information. We cannot guarantee Bluehost servers. That said, we do have an upgraded SSL certificate and Bluehost is a reputable company.

You have the opportunity to review BXD’s Privacy Policy every time you use our website. This is important, as from time to time our Privacy Policy will change. By using our website you agree to BXD collecting your personal information and using it as described in this and future Privacy Policies. If we do change the Policy, you will find it on our website.
